IKEv2 is currently considered the most secure connection protocol, and its configuration principle is similar to L2TP.
If you already have a test or premium access code, enter it on the VPN page and click Connect. Then, in your personal account, select Phone or Tablet > IOS > IKEv2.
Configuration
- Open Settings > General > VPN > Add Configuration.
- In the window that appears, you need to specify your data for configuring the connection:
- In the «Type» section, select IKEv2.
- Description — Arbitrary.
- Server — a list of servers can be found in your personal account by entering your code and selecting Phone or Tablet > IOS > IKEv2.
- Remote ID — specify the same as in the server address section.
- Local ID — leave the field empty.
Authentication
Username — your code, which you will receive in your personal account.
Password — the default password is your email address, which you used to make the purchase.
The configuration is complete, click Done and try to connect.
After connecting, open the page in your browser and check if the IP address has changed. If the IP address has changed, then you have done everything correctly and the VPN is working properly.
